WachMe Kids’ Smartwatch Wins “Best Connected Consumer Device of the Year” at IMC 2025

Best Connected Consumer Device of the Year

Recognised by the Ministry of Communications at India Mobile Congress 2025, WachMe stands as a proud symbol of India’s innovation in child safety and connected technology.

WachMe is proud to announce that our Kids’ Safety Smartwatch has been awarded the “Best Connected Consumer Device of the Year” at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi.

The award was presented by Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, Union Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development, during the IMC 25 Awards Ceremony.

This recognition celebrates WachMe’s contribution to India’s growing connected technology landscape and our commitment to creating safe, intelligent, and Made-in-India innovations for families.

Celebrating Indian Innovation at IMC 2025

The India Mobile Congress is one of the country’s largest technology events, celebrating excellence and innovation across the telecom and digital sectors. This year’s theme encouraged Indian entrepreneurs to innovate, collaborate, and lead with purpose, aligning profit with responsibility and sustainability.

Dr. Pemmasani highlighted how India stands at an “extraordinary inflection point” in digital growth and urged businesses to embrace artificial intelligence, support startups, and build ecosystems that create lasting impact.

WachMe’s win at IMC 2025 reflects exactly that spirit, an ecosystem built around trust, innovation, and purpose. As a homegrown brand, this recognition reinforces our belief that Indian technology can truly shape a safer, smarter, and more connected world for children.

WachMe: India’s #1 Kids Safety Smartwatch

WachMe is designed for kids aged 5–15, offering a perfect blend of safety, learning, and fun. Built on our own WachMe Wear OS, a Made-in-India operating system crafted by IITians, the smartwatch helps parents stay connected with their children while allowing kids to explore with confidence.

Our mission has always been simple: give children the freedom to play, learn, and grow, while keeping parents reassured about their safety.

Key safety and learning features include:

  • Fall Detection: Sends instant alerts if a child falls and doesn’t recover.
  • Bully Monitoring: Automatically records nearby sounds to detect unsafe situations.
  • Auto School Route Tracking: Monitors the child’s journey between home and school.
  • Two-Way Video & Voice Calling: Keeps families connected anytime, anywhere.
  • AI Learning Apps: Encourages fun, interactive learning in Indian languages.

Every feature is built around one idea, technology that cares.

Aligned with India’s Vision for the Future

As highlighted by Dr. Pemmasani at IMC 2025, the future belongs to ecosystems, not monopolies. WachMe stands firmly behind this idea.

We believe in collaboration between engineers, educators, and parents to build solutions that empower families.

Our recognition at IMC 2025 is more than an award; it’s a reminder that Made-in-India innovation can compete on the world stage while serving a real social purpose.

WachMe’s journey represents the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, where technology built in India safeguards the lives and futures of Indian children.

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate this achievement, our focus remains on the road ahead. WachMe will continue to improve our technology, enhance user experience, and bring new features that combine safety, education, and connectivity for every family.

We thank the India Mobile Congress and the Ministry of Communications for this honour.

This award motivates us to continue creating products that inspire confidence, protect families, and celebrate India’s growing strength in innovation.

A Message from the WachMe Team

“Winning this award is a proud moment for our entire team and for every Indian parent who believes in responsible technology. WachMe was created to ensure that every child feels safe and every parent feels connected, without taking away a child’s freedom or joy.
